Hand Processing
The hand processing area caters for such products as

magazines in dust covers with a free gift,
▪
sample bag assembly,
▪
hand collating & inserting,
▪
labelling,
▪
bellyband application,
▪
point of sale pack assembly,
▪
product re-packing - Shelf Ready Trays - Merchandise Stands
▪
and associated manual production.
It is an extremely flexible set up as no two jobs are alike and more often than not a job requires some level of creativity in the set up. Capacity in this area
is limited to the number of people required to complete a job in a given time frame. As supervision is a key prerequisite to every hand processing job,
specific checking procedures are set up. For the job pictured above, weigh checking and periodic pack opening procedures were required to ensure
every pack had every item.
